Thank you, Amy. The gardenia was just opening up, which caught my eye, but the late afternoon sky was so blue that I wanted somehow to include a taste of that, too. Glad you noticed. Now keep dreaming!

Thanks, Pat. Fragrant, indeed. This morning, that bush—which has been planted near our front walk for almost 20 years—sported at least two dozen more blooms, so that fresh scent is now blanketing the neighborhood.
