As spring arrives in South Florida, the Pink Trumpet trees (tabebuia impetiginosa) bloom for a mere two to three days before blanketing roads and lawns with their plentiful shedding flowers. Photographed in Coral Springs, Florida, March 22, 2015. Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.

Aww you’re welcome Kenn 🙂 You totally deserved the compliment 😉
Beautiful blanket! I saw a couple of these trees in pink bloom yesterday when driving around, but didn’t know they last just a few days.

Thank you, Indah!
Nice shot! 🙂
We’ve got snow on the ground again (after warm spring weather) and the new species of birds that arrived are no longer singing with so much joy. Hopefully, warm weather will bounce back again soon!
Thanks, Tom! You guys have had a brutal winter. I hope the coming of April brings a warmer spring to everyone in your neck of the woods.
They look lovely underfoot.
There are yellow tabebuias here, too, and they shed at the same time as the pinks. It’s a beautiful few days every year.
mmmm that looks fabulous! The colors and warmth that radiate from this photo are incredible! Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing more of your work!
Thank you, Tom! Your work is wonderful—I’m now following.
