Ten months ago, I first captured a Yellow Pond Lily (also known as a Spatterdock) jutting from the unusually glass-like stillness of a nearby canal (see Still Life).  Recently, in the same canal, but at an earlier hour that yielded an even bluer cast to the very still water, I came upon another.  Photographed in Coral Springs, Florida, June 20, 2014.  Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.
