What could perhaps be mistaken for a French or Italian estate is actually the Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden. Built in 1898, this neo-Renaissance structure houses one of the most extensive botanical libraries in the world. Photographed in The Bronx, New York, April 25, 2015.
