What could perhaps be mistaken for a French or Italian estate is actually the Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden. Built in 1898, this neo-Renaissance structure houses one of the most extensive botanical libraries in the world. Photographed in The Bronx, New York, April 25, 2015. Love your photos Kenn! You are very talented 🙂
You are very kind! Thank you, Garfield—I’m flattered!
Most welcome Kenn! I will be back for more views 🙂
And I’ll be reading your posts, too. 🙂
Thank you kindly Kenn 🙂
That’s a beautiful building. When I first saw it (before enlarging the tiny print on my Kindle) I thought you were in France 🙂
Thank you, Tiny—yes, the building’s architectural style is very European. Glad you like it! I’m posting a closer view today. 🙂
