Winter? What winter? Taking full advantage of South Florida’s tropical clime, these asiatic lilies put on a show fit for spring. Photographed in Coral Springs, Florida, January 28, 2015. Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.
You photographed this perfectly… just the right depth of field.
You are too, too kind, RMW—I rather think I just got lucky, but I’m delighted that you like the result! 🙂
We are blessed.
Indeed.
Jealous. Jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous. JEALOUS!
Great shot, too! 🙂
Yeah, I must say, it’s been pretty delightful down here of late. I’ll be up in the city next weekend, though, and I see the forecast looks rather frigid, so I suppose I’ll be doing my share of shivering soon. In the meantime, thank you, John, for the kudos on the pic!
Lucky you!!!
It’s 21 below 0 here, and that is not factoring in the strong winds. 😦
Beautiful lily, and such a wonderful color, Kenn.
21 below zero?! Where are you, Antarctica?! And I think I’m all tough and rugged when I sleep with the a/c at 68 degrees. Sheesh, Lisa, stay warm—if that’s possible. (And thanks, as always, for your kind words.) 🙂
Just rub it in why don’t you! We just got some more snow last night 😛 Lovely colors.
Actually, we’ve been enduring a bit of a chill down here lately—could get into the low 60s tonight. Brrrr! 🙂
Yeah……right!
Fabulously dressed for the occasion!
Thank you, Tiny—the wardrobe department went all out for this shot!
Gorgeous opening!
Thank you, Pat—So glad you like it!
Such a stunning color – beautiful! 🙂
Thanks much, Joanne!
A grand opening indeed!!!
Thank you, Andy—glad you like it!

Thank you, dear Indah!
