As March gives way to April, the bloom of a Crimson Bottlebrush tree reaches skyward. Photographed in Coral Springs, Florida, March 30, 2014. Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.
Beautiful. We are lucky to have many wonderful bottlebrushes around here – pinks, yellow and purples as well as the reds (even a few in our front yard}. One of my favorite subjects, particularly for macros.
Thank you, Matt. I wish we had some yellows, purples, and pinks around here—for photographing, of course, but also just to enjoy for their color and beauty.
ha ha realy a very nice bottlebrush
🙂
What a neat plant, Kenn, and the color is so pretty, especially set against that crystal clear blue sky!
Thank you, Lisa. Blue skies like that always seem to make great co-stars.
Wonderful !!!
I have in front of the house (on the street) a blooming Callistemon (Bottlebrushes) 🙂
So you know how beautiful they are in person. Thank you for the kind words!
So aptly named!
Thanks, Pat—yes, they really do look like bottle cleaners!
Foto bellissima, i colori sono fantastici!!
Ciao, Patrizia
La ringrazio molto, Patrizia!
