As March gives way to April, the bloom of a Crimson Bottlebrush tree reaches skyward. Photographed in Coral Springs, Florida, March 30, 2014. Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.

Beautiful. We are lucky to have many wonderful bottlebrushes around here – pinks, yellow and purples as well as the reds (even a few in our front yard}. One of my favorite subjects, particularly for macros.
