Measuring no more than a fingernail across, the bloom of the weed known as Florida pusley is easy to overlook—which is unfortunate, given its intricate, delicate beauty.  While the tiny pusley flowers can often appear, at first glance, to be white, an up-close view (such as the one afforded here by a macro lens) will often reveal a light purple hue to the minuscule petals.  Image captured at the Woodlands Nature Area in Tamarac, Florida, October 6, 2013.  Higher resolution versions of this photo can be viewed at 500px.com.
